How to size your dog for the fur saver:
Measure the width of your dog's neck and add 2 to 3 inches to determine an appropriate collar length.
Therefore these chains avoid a discolouration of fair haired dogs.
After selling these articles for five years, the experiences of our customers show that still some dogs (less than 20%) do react on Curogan with a discolouration.
NOTE! Curogan collars should work for other colors of fur. It is anti-allergic and it is ok for all dogs, except for those with white fur. Stainless steel collars should be offered for dogs with white fur.
General Pinch Collar Related Information : We prefer the steel "pinch" type dog training collars to choke chains as we have found their use to result in easier and faster training for both the dog and the trainer. We suggest that teaching "heel" is a good place to start with the pinch collar. A further advantage of Curogan is the fact it is absolutely free of nickel.
